Stanley Security Solutions, Inc. is pleased to announce the commercial release of the NEW BEST EXQ battery powered exit device lever trim. In recent years, there has been an ever increasing desire for electronic access control.
Through the collaborative efforts of the SMS – Precision Hardware exit device and BEST lock engineering teams; the Wi-Q technology has bridged the gap between two existing product platforms.
The net result is a winning combination of products that provide a significant security solution. Designed for electro-mechanical interface with Precision Hardware exit devices, the pre-wireless EX series lever trim incorporated a very solid security and convenience feature set for battery powered stand alone lever trim applications. By adding the Wi-Q technology, the user benefits from the use of products designed to provide a systematic yet economical approach for convenience, safety and security.
To implement lock/unlock commands and maintain adequate monitoring, hardwire connectivity has traditionally been a necessary part of the application requirements. By integrating the Wi-Q software and portal gateway, the EXQ battery powered exit device trim can maintain lock/unlock and monitoring status based on the respective desired wireless command.
Although the BEST EXQ trim works with ALL standard wide style Precision Hardware Apex 2000 Series exit devices, the newly designed Q option provides significant monitoring benefits. The Q2000 Series exit device incorporates touchbar and latch-bolt monitoring terminated through the active case directly to the BEST EXQ trim. In doing so, the touchbar and latch-bolt status is monitored using the Wi-Q software via the Portal Gateway. Consequently, the respective opening has complete push and latch-bolt monitoring.
