the Peaks® key system against unauthorized manufacturing and
distribution of key blanks into the year 2011. Operationally, unless
the key has a top peak that lifts the patented pin to the designated
shear line, the lock will not operate. Furthermore, without the second
peak on the bottom of your key, the cylinder will jam. Therefore,
the patented key is needed to operate your Peaks® cores.
Controlled Distribution
Best Access Systems guarantees your Peaks® system (all keys,
cores, cylinders, and codes) is not distributed without your written
authorization. You control the distribution of your keys and cores
- and we are here to help you.
140 Series
- 6 pin configurations are available in the following housings: BEST interchangeable core, all conventional plug designs, Corbin Russwin removable core, Medeco removable core, Schlage removable core, Sargent removable core, Yale removable core and more.
- Utilizes a computerized key cutter and Peaks® pinning segments, caps, springs, and BEST KS600 management software.
150 Series
- Conforms to BEST's 6 or 7 pin interchangeable core configuration.
- Utilizes the BEST service equipment: key cutter, pinning segments, caps, springs, and KS600 management software.
- Cores are a brass construction for increased product durability.
- Patented pins are exclusively factory combinated for your convenience and improved system security.
